CIRENCESTER CIVIC SOCIETY WALKS

The Cirencester Civic Society are offering 2 types of walks; self-guided with an available leaflet for you to follow a series of brass plaques in the pavement and guided. The leaflet can be purchased from the Tourist Information Office at the Corinium Museum in Park Place for £1.00.

The guided walks are available without booking on Sundays (May to September) at 3.00pm and on Wednesdays (June to end of August) at 2.30pm from outside the Church Porch in the Market Place. The volunteer guide takes you round the old town, but not into the Church itself, for about 1 ½ hours. A donation to the Civic Society of £2 per head is requested.

Guided walks may be requested for any daylight time throughout the year by contacting coordinator@cirencestertownwalks.co.uk or phoning William Cooper on 01285 885590. Reasonable notice is required to find an available volunteer guide.

Corinium Museum Walks

Further self-guided walk leaflets may be found at the Tourist Information Office that have been designed by the Corinium Museum (01285 64 11 82). Al l are for around the town and take an hour or so.
